Beckham thinks Klopp and Liverpool could upset everyone

Never underestimate the power of motivation certain managers have, in the case of Jurgen Klopp this is an absolute certainty. This is why people such as David Beckham have been set on studying his methods, since he managed Borussia Dortmund a few seasons back. The German manager has instilled his working methods and mindset in every player he's ever coached, they proved it last season by reaching the League Cup final and the Europa League final.

This upcoming season they will be one of the most respectable foes to beat, and any side that thinks otherwise or doesn't take them seriously will have a world of problems. Beckham thinks they will be title contenders next season. He told Sky Sports that: "When he first went in, I started to think, ‘this could be worrying as a Man United fan to see Liverpool coming back to being up there again with the big teams'. It makes it unpredictable, but with Klopp going in at Liverpool, you could see the change (last season)."

“But Jose (Mourinho) going to United and (Antonio) Conte going to Chelsea and Pep (Guardiola going to City) – who I love, I have been a big fan of his for so many years, both on the pitch and off the pitch, he does so much for a team. So it will be unpredictable, but I do think it will be one of those teams who will be champions at the end of the year. I am going to have to say United (will win the league). I will always be on that side of the fence.”
