Ibrahima Konate, Marc Cucurella and Kylian Mbappé all reported back for duty, giving the coach important depth as the club moves toward its first competitive fixtures. Their arrival strengthens a squad that has been gradually returning to full strength following summer commitments. However, two notable absentees stood out: Aurelien Tchouameni and Jude Bellingham were not present at Valdebebas.
According to Cadena COPE journalist Arancha Rodriguez, both midfielders have been granted an extended break and are scheduled to rejoin the group on Wednesday. The delay means Mourinho will have to wait a little longer before working with his complete midfield unit, though the club views the additional rest as beneficial after a demanding international calendar. Madrid expect to have their full squad available later in the week as preparations intensify ahead of the season opener.
