Benitez convinced he can save Newcastle

After the international break, Newcastle United are going through their most difficult time in recent history as they will face the last seven matches of this Premier League season that may save them or doom them to relegation. Manager Rafael Benitez has imprinted a sense or relaxation the players seemed to need, he has managed to give them the confidence they require to focus and face this next few matches coming ahead.

Right after the break, they are going to play against Norwich City, a direct contender in the battle against relegation. For goalkeeper Rob Elliot Benitez has helped the team get their much needed courage to face this stage of the tournament, and he has no doubt the Toon Army will prevail from all the obstacles they are facing and remain in the Premier League by the end of the season. For that, they need to win every single game no doubt.

Elliot is truly convinced Benitez will help them earn their stay in the Premier League: “The new gaffer is a very calming influence. When he came in he said straight away that even if had we had bad results in his first three games, it didn’t mean it’s over. He’s urged us not to let our heads drop because he’s seen things he can build on with us. He’s a manager whose experience speaks for itself and his presence has helped up the level around the place.”
