With the rumors of Unai Emery taking the new job at Paris Saint Germain still fresh, this past Monday French manager Laurent Blanc has announced his departure from the French giants and gave a statement where he talked about the situation. Since he arrived, Laurent Blanc has managed to win all trophies at PSG, in a league where there wasn't any other dominating team.
His arrival was at the same time that Zlatan Ibrahimovic was at the club and took a good advantage of what the Sweden genius managed to accomplish. But the further analysis is that Paris Saint Germain, believe they have a good enough roster to get further in the Champions League and Blanc hasn't been able to do that. This is the main reason why Blanc leaves, the next manager will have the pressure of delivering on the international level.
In a statement to AFP, Blanc said: "My collaboration with PSG ends today. I would like to thank all the people who've worked alongside me. I spent three seasons here that were fulfilling on a human and professional level, littered with numerous trophies. I wish the best for PSG and its supporters as well as good luck for my successor."
