Reports claim Bologna’s player Arthur Theate is looking forward to joining the West Ham team this season with an £8.5million fee. The Belgian played for Bologna on loan last summer and the 22-year-old was then signed by the team after Arsenal completed the transfer of Takehiro Tomiyasu.
The Belgium international has since been almost a regular feature at the Serie A club with 34 outings and netting twice for the team. The versatile defender even after the permanent deal is not looking forward to a longer stay at the club but considers a move to Hammers. For West Ham, Theate could be a great asset too with his ability to play at left-back and at centre-back as well with the Europa Conference League on this calendar the team could also use some depth in the squad.
