Boniface reportedly in talks with AC Milan

Around six months after his proposed move to Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr collapsed at the last moment, Victor Boniface is once again being linked with a departure from Bayer Leverkusen. According to international press Boniface is in talks with AC Milan and is open to making the switch to the Serie A club.

However, nothing is concrete yet, and given Milan’s failure to qualify for European competition last season, they are unlikely to come close to matching the offer Al Nassr made during the winter transfer window.

Reports have also suggested that Al Nassr could renew their interest in the striker, while Galatasaray have been mentioned as potential suitors as well.

It remains unclear whether Leverkusen would prefer to keep or sell Boniface at this stage. Die Werkself do have another top striker in Patrik Schick, and recent reports suggest they are in talks about a contract extension.
