Although a failed penalty prevented Adeyemi from scoring a hat-trick at Signal Iduna Park, he still scored twice and assisted Sebastien Haller. Bellingham and Adeyemi each scored twice, while Donyell Malen added the final goal to bring Dortmund's 10-game winning streak in the domestic league to within one point of Bayern.
