After being held to a goalless draw by Crystal Palace, Bournemouth lost the chance to remain in contact with the top four teams in the Premier League. After a game with few clear opportunities and an overall lack of quality, the points were split at Vitality Stadium.
Antoine Semenyo, Evanilson, and Philip Billing all came close to scoring as Bournemouth, who were looking for their fifth victory in six games, dominated much of the game. But Palace's undefeated away run now stands at five league games, forcing Andoni Iraola's team to settle for a draw. After the outcome, Bournemouth is now four points behind fourth place in sixth position. Palace, led by Oliver Glasner, is now five points above the relegation zone in 16th place. Despite not winning, Bournemouth reached their highest point total of 29 during the first 18 games of a Premier League season.
