Brahim Diaz had been in good nick when he suffered an adductor injury

When he sustained an adductor injury last month, Brahim Diaz was in excellent condition, which dealt Real Madrid yet another setback. The devastating news was that the dynamic attacker, 25, who represented Morocco internationally, may miss up to three months of action. His absence from the game had been evident every time he entered the field.

Brahim's appearance on the field during training earlier this week was therefore greatly anticipated. Soon after, reports surfaced indicating that the former Manchester City player was likely to accelerate his recuperation period and return far sooner than first thought. Adding to that, AS now claims that Brahim Diaz may make his Real Madrid comeback as early as this month's Clasico against FC Barcelona. After the international break, Real Madrid will play again on October 19 against Celta Vigo, and Brahim will find that match to be too soon.
