This Tuesday morning, the Spain national team manager Vicente del Bosque, has shared a 25-men list of players who will be representing their country in the upcoming European Championship to be played in France this summer. The main surprise is the absence of Chelsea striker Diego Costa, who had been a regular in Del Bosque's lists until now. The manager's reason for not including players like him or Santi Cazorla, is because he believes those players are physically fragile and may get injured.
In other surprises, Del Bosque has included Bayern Munich's Thiago Alcantara on the list, Celta de Vigo's Nolito, and finally decided to include Aritz Aduriz to the list. But before he gives the final list, he will cut two players so they will have to compete against each other knowing that two of them will have to go back home. Another surprise was the inclusion of Real Madrid youngster Lucas Vazquez and the exclusion of Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres. As for the rest of the squad, it's all pretty much what we were all expecting. Take a look at the list.
Goalkeepers: Iker Casillas (Porto), David De Gea (Man United), Sergio Rico (Sevilla).
