BREAKING: Mexican striker Alan Pulido has been kidnapped

A story that has been developing throughout the day is that Mexican striker Alan Pulido, who has played for Mexico and today plays for Olympiacos, has been reportedly kidnapped in the state of Tamaulipas.

Reports say that his brother has confirmed the player attended a party with his girlfriend on Saturday night, when he was leaving several trucks surrounded his vehicle and six masked men proceeded to grab him by force leaving his girlfriend unharmed at the scene.

After his brother confirmed the kidnapping to the press and the authorities, the Tamaulipas government has requested the press to stay put until more information is revealed about the details of the player's abduction. There are armed forces and joint efforts throughout the whole state to try and find the player as soon as possible.

The player's parents have already reportedly showed up at the justice department of Tamaulipas where they will give their statement about the crime. We'll keep reporting on these news as soon as we know more information, but meanwhile you can check out a picture of the party that Pulido attended before getting kidnapped.
