In front of the Foxes' new manager, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Brentford maintained their incredible home run, defeating Leicester 4-1. In west London, the visitors had taken the lead thanks to Facundo Buonanotte. However, Brentford stormed back to record the greatest points return in the Premier League with six victories and one tie from seven home league games this season.

Schade grabbed center stage when Yoane Wissa initiated the comeback. The German put the home team ahead before halftime, matching the two Premier League goals he has scored since joining the Bees in 2023. Schade then completed the score to demonstrate to Van Nistelrooy the magnitude of the challenge ahead of his first game as manager on Tuesday against West Ham. Late drama in a 1-1 draw against Newcastle helped Crystal Palace escape the relegation zone on goal differential. Chris Wood's powerful penalty kick was sufficient to put Forest back on track and keep Ipswich in the bottom three.
