Neymar has the opportunity to become FC Barcelona's most valued player after Lionel Messi stops his progression as the best in the world. Messi is going through his last years as the best and Neymar is only starting his career, this is good enough reason for Neymar to have patience and keep working hard in a team that always has the chance to win titles. Rumors have placed the forward as a more than likely PSG player for next season, but as advice from a true Brazil legend may help Neymar decide.
Brazilian right back Cafu is one of his countries most respected players in history, he won the World Cup in 2002 and became a world class talent mainly playing in Italian football. He recently granted an interview to Laureus.com and discussed Neymar's possible choice but for Cafu, there is really no decision to make as the forward plays at the best team in the world right now no doubt.
During a special interview with Laureus.com, Cafu said: "I hope that he can continue at Barcelona. Barcelona are a team that supports him, a team that provide him with structure to help him continue to shine. Neymar's moment will come, it didn't come this time, but the next time, for sure. Neymar will increase his advantage over the others. Each player becomes the best in the world in their own time. He is very important for world football today, the way football should be played, content and happy.
"He could become one of the world’s best football idols. He is the most important player in the Brazilian team. I think he should play. If he does, we will be able to win an Olympic medal. We have never won an Olympic Games and for that reason it will be important for us. Independent of whether we won or lost the 2014 World Cup, the Olympics will be important for us to create more credibility."
