The Red Devils have the potential to be the best club in England, results haven't been there for them lately but that doesn't mean they won't recover soon from the negative results of late. Liverpool's former defender Jamie Carragher who works as a pundit for Sky Sports, spoke about United's actual chances to win a title this season. He is convinced they will be a title contender in May.
Having some of the best players in the world should be more than enough motivation for them to win titles. Paul Pogba is still fighting to find his old form back, pressure has gotten the best of him, but there is no doubt that he will get there eventually. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is always a safe bet and Wayne Rooney seems to be getting back to his old form. The trump card they have is youngster Marcus Rashford, who is arguably one of the greatest talents English football has right now.
Carragher said: "It probably feels like that [Liverpool more likely to win title than United] now, because of how Liverpool have started the season, but it was only two or three days ago we were saying it was going to be a shoot-out for the league between United and City. I still think United will be right up there come the end of the season, the manager has got great experience of winning the Premier League, so I certainly wouldn't write Manchester United off at such an early stage. I think them, and hopefully Liverpool, will be up there fighting for the title."
