United increased their tally to 41 points, placing them fourth in the overall standings, while Fulham's tally remained at 34 points, putting them in eighth place.
Red Devils took the lead through Brazilian star Casemiro in the 19th minute with a brilliant header, following a cross from Bruno Fernandes from a direct free kick.
