Cech confirms Arsenal wants the title

Now that the world found out Arsenal has practically completed the signings of Lucas Perez and Mustafi from the Spanish La Liga, people have started to realize they can be competitive this season after all. Their convincing victory at Watford with three goals throughout the first half, was proof that they truly want to get back on the headlines and they will be a highly complicated side this season. Santi Cazorla, Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil scored for the Gunners, they got back on the winning trail and according to Petr Cech, they are coming for more.

The goalie spoke to the BBC, he said: "There are 35 more games to play and we will fight to win every game and be in the mix in the last game. We want to win the title, there is no hiding … that and we will do our best. The first half we did well, scored three goals and could have scored more. The second half they were 3-0 down and as a good Premier League side pushed for something and it was tougher."

Cech is well aware that his saves were the reason why Arsenal was able to keep the clean sheet throughout the first half, but he knows that it's all about teamwork if they want to do something important this season: "Everybody has to do their bit to help the team get three points. I am not happy because we conceded but a win is a win. We needed to respond after the first two games and got the vital three points."
