Celta Vigo Climbs to second place in La Liga

Valencia almost had the match in hand with an early goal by Maxi Gomez but Iago Aspas stoke twice against Valencia as they watched the match slip away from their fingers by 1-2 in favor of Celta Vigo.

Valencia’s trouble doesn’t seem to have past after losing several key players, it lost to a team that had barely managed to survive relegation last season. Nevertheless, Celta was victorious and bagged four easy points east in the season. Jose Luis Gaya expressed how they need to work more on their away games as they haven’t won a game since December. Earlier Valencia’s rivals also surpassed the team by winning their matches Getafe won by 1-0 against Osasuna and Villarreal beat Eibar by 2-1.
