Nicolas Kuhn scored twice for Celtic as the Bhoys rallied to defeat RB Leipzig 3-1 in the Champions League on Tuesday. With their second Champions League home victory of the season, Celtic moved up to 13th place in the rankings with seven points, following a goalless draw against Atalanta on matchday three. They had to do it the hard way, losing to a close-range header from Christoph Baumgartner in the 23rd minute after Cameron Carter-Vickers had taken a corner.
But just before halftime, Kuhn scored his brace by tapping into an open net after leveling the score with a fantastic curling attempt from the edge of the box in the 35th minute. After halftime, Benjamin Sesko and Baumgartner almost equalized, but Celtic's birthday boy, 38-year-old goalie Kasper Schmeichel, made a few excellent stops before Reo Hatate's close-range strike in the 72nd minute clinched the win.
