Cesare Casadei, a young player for Chelsea, has apparently accepted Lazio's offer, and the team is making significant progress in their quest. The Biancocelesti are presently pursuing many goals in hopes of acquiring a new midfield player (eligible for the U22 squad) in January. Along with Casadei, Jacopo Fazzini of Empoli and Reda Belahyane of Hellas Verona are the front-runners. Lazio has had trouble reaching deals with other Serie A teams, though.
However, Alfredo Pedulla, an Italian writer, claims that the Aquile are making significant progress on the Casadei track and that the player has already accepted the transfer to the Italian city. On Wednesday, the club directors met with his agent in a constructive manner. It is now up to Angelo Fabiani and Claudio Lotito to reach a deal with Chelsea.
