Sky Sport Italia claims that Cesc Fabregas, the coach of Como, is being considered as a possible Roma replacement for Claudio Ranieri. Given that Ranieri just came out of retirement in November to save the team and will depart in the summer, the Giallorossi have been searching for a manager for the upcoming campaign for months. Last season, the former player assisted Como in moving up from Serie B, and they have already secured their place in the top division.
Milan, Juventus, and RB Leipzig are among the many teams who have been connected to Fabregas, but Como is adamant that he will stay with them. When the pair met in March, Ranieri hugged Fabregas in the tunnel and they had a sweet conversation. “I hope to become like you,” said the former midfielder.
