Chelsea is reportedly interested in Michael Kayode, according to a report by Graeme Bailey on TBR Football. In the January transfer window, the Blues hope to take a tentative look at right backs. They are now focusing on the Fiorentina full-back, even if Tottenham Hotspur has long-term intentions for the 20-year-old. Since getting into the Fiorentina first team, Michael Kayode has established himself as one of the top young full-backs in Serie A. Born in Borgomanero, he was raised by three Italian teams, graduating from Fiorentina's youth level after attending the academies of Juventus and ASDC Gozzano.
Beginning with the 2023–24 season, the 20-year-old made his Fiorentina debut and has since become a mainstay for La Viola. Kayode has made 40 appearances for the Serie A team thus far, with one goal and four assists.
