After months of uncertainty and doubts, Chelsea have made their change of ownership official, so the sporting management now have the go-ahead to carry out their plans for the summer transfer window. Having just confirmed this situation, 'The Athletic' put two players on their radar: Sergiño Dest and Achraf Hakimi.

The signing of the Barcelona right-back is looking more likely. The board headed by Joan Laporta could look favourably on a sale that would further bolster their damaged accounts and it has already emerged that Xavi Hernandez would not consider it a disaster to lose the American. Especially if they manage to sign Azpilicueta.

To sign the Moroccan, the Blues would find it difficult. They would have to negotiate with the offices of the Parc des Princes, who have already shown themselves to be very tough in other negotiations in which they were not willing to let their players leave.
