Chelsea defeated Wolves 3-1

Chelsea defeated Wolves 3-1 at Stamford Bridge to snap a five-match losing skid in the Premier League. The Blues returned to the top four thanks to goals from Marc Cucurella, Noni Madueke, and Tosin Adarabioyo.

Tosin's first Premier League goal broke the tie halfway through the first half, but Matt Doherty equalised just before halftime thanks to a mistake from Robert Sanchez from a corner. But two goals in five minutes in the second half gave the Blues a much-needed victory. On the hour mark, Cucurella scored a goal to record his 100th Premier League game after Madueke's deflected cross. After Cole Palmer's corner was headed towards goal by the returning Trevoh Chalobah, the latter nodded in on the line. Wolves are still in 17th position and just outside the relegation zone on goal differential, while Enzo Maresca's team jumps ahead of Newcastle United and Manchester City to fourth place.
