Chelsea’s squad issues stem more from a lack of team cohesion than individual talent. Under Enzo Maresca, the side's ability is undeniable, requiring minimal new signings. The key need is a head coach who can integrate the players into a cohesive unit. However, the goalkeeping position remains a notable exception.

Last summer's signings, Robert Sánchez and Đorđe Petrović, have failed to impress. Reports suggest that Chelsea's board, led by Behdad Eghbali, is seeking a new goalkeeper. TeamTalk indicates that Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili and Villarreal’s Filip Jörgensen are top targets, with Mamardashvili generating the most excitement among fans. Chelsea’s immediate focus should be on acquiring a reliable shot-stopper while working on team synergy to meet the required standards. With Mamardashvili as a promising candidate, fans have reason to be optimistic about resolving the club’s goalkeeping dilemma.
