Chelsea narrow down their search for Goalkeeper

Chelsea’s goalkeeper pursuit has seen a forward leap as they climb closer to signing American goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina. Chelsea is getting some competition from Real Madrid who is also pushing for Slonina but they saw their bid being dismissed. Chicago Fire is expecting an exchange of €10 million. The Major League Soccer club youngster is considered a future star at 18 years of age his contribution this season for Chicago has seen five clean sheets in 13 MLS appearances.

Thus he is being hailed as a future star. His body type is compared to the likes of Gianluigi Donnarumma with exceptionally strong reflexes. While Chelsea has developed Édouard Mendy as the main man in the goalkeeping department Slonina could be considered for the post-Mendy time at Chelsea.
