Chelsea secured a commanding 3-0 victory over Aston Villa

Chelsea secured a commanding 3-0 victory over Aston Villa on Sunday, climbing to joint second in the Premier League table. Nicolas Jackson opened the scoring in the 7th minute, converting Marc Cucurella's precise cross with a composed side-foot finish that deflected off the post.Chelsea capitalized on Villa's defensive lapses again in the 36th minute when Enzo Fernandez received a pass from Cole Palmer, composed himself, and slotted the ball between Matty Cash and Ezri Konsa.

Palmer rounded off the evening with a stunning goal in the 83rd minute, curling a left-footed strike into the top corner past substitute keeper Robin Olsen. Under Enzo Maresca’s guidance, Chelsea matched Arsenal on points and goal difference before Liverpool's clash with Manchester City. Meanwhile, Villa's loss saw them slip to 11th.
