Chelsea to announce another signing

Over the past few weeks – Chelsea fans have seen the board splash the cash on a number of talents for the future – with the likes of Renato Veiga – Willian Estevao and Marc Guia just a few names that have been signed by the club.

But there is still plenty of time left in the transfer window to delve into that kitty and sign a few more talented players – and Mec is the latest name to be linked with a move to the Premier League giants.

Now Brazilian media outlet Radio Bandeirantes has reported that Chelsea are preparing a €20 million bid for Mec, structured as €7m upfront with an additional €13m in performance-related add-ons.

It was claimed in September by the Brazilian daily sports newspaper Lance! that Arsenal had been showing a keen interest in getting a deal done,  Paris Saint-Germain were also named in the report as doing likewise.
