Chelsea’s Benoît Badiashile attracting Marseille interest

Under new manager Enzo Maresca, Badiashile has enjoyed something of a breakthrough, despite only making two Premier League appearances. Thus far this season, the Frenchman has made 10 appearances in all competitions. Speaking recently, he said that he wished to remain at Chelsea, however, that isn’t to say that there isn’t interest elsewhere.

Monaco Matin have evoked an interest from Olympique de Marseille, who over the summer showed an interest in his teammate and compatriot Wesley Fofana. Juventus, in the market for a centre-back this winter, have also been touted as a potential destination, whilst Foot Mercato have evoked interest from multiple Bundesliga and Serie A sides. However, despite pursuits from multiple clubs, it is likely that Badiashile remains with Chelsea in January.
