In an interview with *France Football* ahead of Manchester City’s Champions League clash with Real Madrid, the French midfielder revealed a personal wager with his father: he must win the Ballon d’Or. Cherki joked that the real prize would be his father finally stopping the constant football talk, stressing how much he values their relationship beyond the sport.
