Chile saves a point in Colombia

It was going to be a tough contest for the Chilean national team, they had Colombia in front of them, a national team that is after more victories now that they had Radamel Falcao back with them. But they faced a potent and well-organized Chilean team that didn't let them breathe, manager Pizzi was happy with the result and disappointed because his goalkeeper Claudio Bravo got a hip injury that may keep him out of contest for the next match.

Pizzi said this after the game: "Claudio was a blow to the hip. Arturo has a problem from the match against Peru, but he forgets it and gives everything. The context in which we got this point is very important. I am very satisfied and happy because we foresaw what could happen."

In other matches, Peru traveled to Paraguay and won 4-1 with goals scored by Ramos, Flores, Cueva, and an own goal by Benitez. Uruguay defeated Ecuador 2-1 at home and Venezuela battered Bolivia 5-0 with a Martinez hat-trick and solo goals scored by Otero and Koufatty. With these results, Uruguay took the lead for a while, but Brazil soon took it back after defeating Argentina. Take a look at the table and how it unfolded with today's results.
