It's not a thing of chance or luck that Pep Guardiola debuted his manager career with a treble coaching FC Barcelona, the Catalan club does have some of the best players in football history but in order for that to work there needs to be good enough management. Guardiola's road to become who he is today didn't come as a struck of good luck, he worked his ass to get to where he is. Pep traveled the world to learn from the very best managers and directors in order to understand the full scope of his profession.
Now that he's already been in more than one club, Guardiola is revered as a world class manager in both Barcelona and Bayern Munich. The first signs of his hard work throughout the years started getting noticed from the very start, one of the first to realize this was French full-back Gael Clichy. He told the Manchester Evening News that: "In a short period of time, he's shown us how great he is. Of course, being great doesn't always mean getting results, but everyone is looking forward to this season. It's very good. It's very impressive. It's fresh and he has new ideas. We all know the way he wants to play.
"We don't want to say too much because one manager isn't going to change the whole club, but of course he's going to change a lot of things. The young players are improving, we're improving. It's not going to be easy because we are starting from zero. Having a great manager and great players is not enough. We have to work hard and we want to start the season as strong as possible."
