Como beat Hellas Verona 3-2 in a wild Serie A clash

Just before halftime, Cutrone gave the home team the lead, but fewer than ten minutes into the second half, Darko Lazovic's penalty tied the score. After the interval, though, Verona's fortunes took a turn for the worst when Tomas Suslov was sent off on minute 64, and Cutrone scored his second goal eight minutes later to give Como the lead again.

With a minute remaining, Andrea Belotti made it 3-1, ultimately terminating the match, even though Mathis Lamboure offered some consolation in the fourth minute of stoppage time. With three points from the victory, Como moved up into the top 10, while Verona is now ranked 14th. Nico Paz's cross-shot from the tightest angle was diverted over the side netting, and Alberto Moreno's long-range left-footed rocket was palmed over the bar.
