Como beat Monza 3-1

With goals from Jonathan Ikone, Assane Diao, and Mergim Vojvoda, Como completed the comeback from an early goal by Dany Mota Carvalho, bringing Monza closer to relegation.

Without Matteo Pessina and Andrea Carboni, the hosts were already at their lowest point and were all but doomed. After his team only managed two points from the previous four rounds, which were shared with Venezia and Empoli, Cesc Fabregas became frustrated. Nico Paz and Dele Alli came back from suspension, and Ignace van der Brempt, Alberto Dossena, and Ivan Azon were on the treatment table. When Dany Mota Carvalho controlled a long Georgios Kyriakopoulos ball over the top, Monza took an unexpected early lead. Oliver Kempf appeared to have it under control, but his defence was far too flimsy, and the striker got it back to sweep in with the inside of his right boot from eight yards out.
