Connor Barron's dream transfer

Cagliari's bid to make the dream transfer of Aberdeen striker Connor Barron to Italy has been approved by Claudio Ranieri.

The midfielder for the Scotland Under-21 team has been playing excellently lately, as seen by his performance in the Scottish Cup semi-final penalty shootout loss to Celtic at Hampden. However, his contract at Pittodrie expires after the current campaign, and he is expected to join former Dons teammate Lewis Ferguson in Serie A. Additionally, rumors are circulating in Italy that former Leicester City title-winner Ranieri has elevated his pursuit of Aberdeen's Barron to top priority for the upcoming campaign. Thirty-five years after his initial tenure at the club, the 72-year-old former manager of Chelsea, Juventus, Napoli, and Atletico Madrid assumed leadership of Cagliari last season. He helped them get promoted from Serie B right away, and it appears he will maintain the Sardinian team in the top division this year.
