Considering Matheus Franca a "serious possibility"

According to trades specialist Fabrizio Romano of GIVEMESPORT, there is now a "serious possibility" that Chelsea would sign talented teenage midfielder Matheus Franca of Flamengo this summer. The club can now focus on bringing in new players thanks to the large number of players who have been shipped away, with promising attacker Nicolas Jackson already arriving from La Liga team Villarreal.

The Blues were planning to make an initial bid for the young player in the neighbourhood of £17 million, with subsequent add-ons pushing the price up even more, Fabrizio Romano claimed last week on his YouTube channel. According to the Italian, things appear to have advanced further over the course of the week, and a deal is now appearing to be more feasible. In a few years, it may be a wonderful business move for Chelsea to sign him for just £17 million.
