The situation of Pato can be related to the same situation the smelly boy had at the school dance when nobody wanted to dance with her. She may look pretty from the distance, but once people got closer there was no way anybody would pick him from the bunch. Alexandre Pato's situation is very much like this one because he already has a bad rep in European football and there was no club that really wanted to gamble on him and get his transfer.
That's why Corinthians FC who own his rights, have decided to bring him back to the club and hope the England experience has helped him become a better player. But it's difficult to say if Pato will want to stay there, his mind was already set in finding a club in Europe that wanted him. The reports from his sources suggest that his agent will to everything in his power to find Pato a club that wants to buy him in Europe, he's got until August 30th to do so.
But for now the player will return to Brazil, Corinthians president Roberto de Andrade confirmed it to Boa Noite Fox: "The technical part I cannot answer. The coach is different, we have new life at the club. If Pato is back, the coach will talk to him. Let's wait and see what happens. He plays for Corinthians, I will pay the salary. Why not? There is no problem. We do not have anything definite. We must expect to have a conversation with Pato and his representative, and then decide. In January, he showed an interest to play in Europe and that's what happened."
