CR7: "The Saudi league is getting better, it will soon be in the world's top-5"

Cristiano Ronaldo believes that the Saudi Arabian League will be among the top five in the world in the near future. After Al Nasr's triumph over Al Shabab, in which he scored the winning goal for his team, the 38-year-old Portuguese international praised the level of the Saudi championship.

"The Saudi championship is improving, next season will be even better. Step by step I think it will be one of the top 5 leagues in the world, but it needs time, players and infrastructure, but I believe in the potential of this country and its people . I believe the championship will be fantastic", said the 38-year-old striker.

The Saudi League is led by Al Ittihad, coached by the Portuguese Nuno Espírito Santo, who this Tuesday overcame Al Batin (1-0) to reach 66 points. Al Nasr, who also won, is second with 63, with two rounds to go.
