Crazy Inter: from 0–2 down to a rout that opens a six-point gap over Milan

Inter produced a chaotic yet magnificent comeback at San Siro, overturning a shocking two-goal deficit to demolish Pisa SC 6–2. This commanding victory propels Cristian Chivu’s side six points clear of AC Milan, who face Roma today.

The evening started as a nightmare. Yann Sommer’s clearance error allowed Stefano Moreo to score from distance, and the striker soon headed a second to stun the crowd. However, Chivu’s early substitution of Federico Dimarco proved decisive. Before halftime, Piotr Zieliński’s penalty, a Lautaro Martínez header, and a Pio Esposito strike completely reversed the scoreline to 3–2.

Inter remained relentless after the break. Dimarco eventually thundered home a volley for the fourth, shattering Pisa’s resistance. Late strikes from Ange-Yoan Bonny and Henrikh Mkhitaryan completed the tennis scoreline. While the Tuscans languish in the dreaded relegation zone, Inter have successfully banished their recent Champions League ghosts to tighten their grip on the Scudetto.
