Crystal Palace suffer a big McArthur injury setback

Crystal Palace’s one of the essential midfielder James McArthur was ruled out of action before the Premier League encounter against Burnley this afternoon. Eagles get the big injury blow at the most inopportune time as they are hoping to extend their six-game unbeaten run when they travel to Turf Moor but the 34-year-old maestro would not be able to assist the team this time.

McArthur suffered from a hamstring issue and would be out for a couple of weeks missing many fixtures for Patrick Vieira’s side in the Premier League as well as some of the Champions League fixtures. Although Eagles did get back Joachim Andersen and Eberechi Eze also returns to the lineup. The former Scotland international has started every Premier League game for Palace this season and even served as the captain of the side on six occasions.
