David Luiz exit bodes well for Arsenal

Arsenal defender David Luiz might be leaving Arsenal at the end of this summer and Jermaine Jenas believes it might help Mikel Arteta in rebuilding the team this summer.  The former Chelsea man has put in two seasons with Arsenal and is unwilling to extend his contract this summer with the Gunners. The 34-year-old joined Gunners in 2019 for one year contract and later extended the same by 12 months in the current campaign the defender made 30 appearances for the club.

But despite his great form Arsenal’s current season has been disappointing and the north London club would not be part of the European competition for the first time in 25 years. With the Brazilian’s departure, Arsenal can free up some cash and start the building process they so desperately need.
