Del Bosque warns about poisoned Spain dressing room

Long gone are the days when everybody believed the Spanish national team was in complete harmony, many players are now sick and tired of so many years with the same teammates. The influence from the press hasn't helped either because it affects the most pursued players without question, former Spain manager Vicente del Bosque revealed the reason why he believes this dressing room will fall apart in the near future.

Talking to the University of Salamanca after being made an honorary member of their alumni association, Del Bosque revealed that: "There were poisonings from outside which disturbed the dressing room. We always wanted to pick the best players, regardless of their birthplace or club," he continued. We wanted to teach them well in training, finding both success and disappointment in the major competitions."

But this information doesn't come as a shock, things will get exponentially worse if they don't get the results they need and with that will come Julen Lopetegui's axing. This Sunday's win was crucial for them to retain their confidence, but we'll see what some of the players will say to the press.
