Without knowing if James Rodriguez will be ready to play the next match against Paraguay later today due to a shoulder injury, manager Ramon Diaz urged his players to giddy up and win the match. There is no doubt that it has been a really bad year for the Real Madrid player, missing out on this match against the Guarani side would be another bad chapter in this 2016 which the player just wants to forget.
During a press conference before the match, coach Ramon Diaz is convinced that should James not be available they would certainly have more chances to defeat Colombia: "It would be very significant. He's one of the best players in the world. He has class and great football and human quality. It is a significant loss, but Colombia has other good players at good levels and have options to replace him."
Diaz gave some pointer on what Paraguay needs to do in order to win against the Colombian side in Orlando Florida this Tuesday: "We have to be very smart. They had an extra day of recovery and didn't have to travel. These are things that must be taken into account because we made a huge effort against Costa Rica."
