Dortmund beats Hertha, now back in the race

Borussia Dortmund received their 3rd Bundesliga victory in the last 4 games by scoring 2 goals in the second half in the 2-0 win against Hertha Berlin and has now moved back to the 5th place in Bundesliga with 42 points. In the 54th minute, Julian Brandt tried his luck from 25 meters, and Rune Jarstein, the goalkeeper of Hertha misjudged the ball and the ball went through his hands into the goal.

Dortmund had the upper hand because they are through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League. They hit the woodwork through Captain Marco Reus 3 times - in the first half, on the hour, and at the 89th-minute close. This win lifted Dortmund, who lost to Bayern Munich last week and is just one point behind the Eintracht Frankfurt who is at 4th place.
