Double from Benzema helps Real Madrid beat Bilbao

Two late goals from Karim Benzema gives Real Madrid a 3-1 win over Athletic Bilbao who was reduced to a 10-men squad to level up on points with Real Sociedad and Atletico Madrid in the  Spanish league. Bilbao had almost cornered Real Madrid to salvage a point from the game at least at the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium when Benzema made sure they walked away with three points rather than settle for one by scoring 9th and 10th goal of the season. Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane shared Benzema is a great player who always delivers whenever the team needs him to.

Athletic Bilbao played most of the game with a reduced squad when Raul Garcia was sent off in the 14th minute with two yellow cards. Toni Kroos then put Madrid ahead after he pushed past Spain goalkeeper Unai Simon later in the 52nd minute Right back Ander Capa scored to level the score for Bilbao.
