The Barcelona midfielder is reportedly poised to join Paris Saint-Germain until 2030, a move that has seemingly caught the Catalan giants off guard.

Dro Fernandez is reportedly poised to depart before February 2nd. The academy graduate, who rose through the ranks at FC Barcelona, has formally notified the club of his intention to leave by activating his six-million-euro release clause.

Despite initial links to Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, it is ultimately Luis Enrique's PSG who are set to secure the highly-rated Catalan midfielder. Fernandez is regarded as one of Barcelona's most promising academy products, having featured prominently this season.

Further details regarding the transfer have been unveiled by 'L'Équipe'. The midfielder is expected to sign a three-and-a-half-year deal, committing his future until June 2030, underscoring the French club's substantial investment.
