The Dutch forward arrives from Aston Villa. Born in 1999, Malen joins Gian Piero Gasperini's attacking line to revive his career and become a key figure for the Giallorossi.
Following the arrival of Robinio Vaz, Roma have reinforced their attacking department once again. Malen's move is structured as a €2 million loan, with the option for a permanent transfer worth €25 million. Should Roma activate it, the fee would be paid to Aston Villa.
Malen, 26, has already played in four top leagues: the Eredivisie with PSV Eindhoven, the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund and the Premier League with Aston Villa.
His peak came in Germany, where he impressed over four seasons with Dortmund, earning his move to England for €25 million.
Internationally, Malen is a regular for the Netherlands, contributing 13 goals and eight assists in his Oranje career.
