Elche surpass Valencia 2-1

Elche defeats Valencia (2-1) in order to deal with the third straight loss in the Spanish League on Friday. However, Valencia's struggle continued after not replacing several of its starters. Those starters were sold during the summer transfer window. Starters encompass Dani Parejo, Ferran Torres, and Rodrigo Moreno.

Elche ruled the first half against Valencia's side. However, Valencia's side was not able to threaten its area. José Fernández twined in a strike which provided Elche the lead in the 19th minute. Fidel Chaves added another feather in the hat by scoring a goal with a pinpoint shot in the 37th minute. Valencia improved after halftime with the help of right back Thierry Correia's assaults. Nonetheless, Edgar Badía, Elche's goalkeeper, saved tries by Carlos Soler, José Gayà, and Gabriel Paulista.
