Enner Valencia shines against Haiti

The Ecuadorian National Team got a very important victory against Haiti, which keep their hopes alive to win a spot in the Copa America Centenario's quarterfinals. MetLife Stadium in New Jersey was the venue which hosted this match that would give Ecuador the chance to earn 5 units in Group B. They had an easy Haiti side in front of them with everything in their favor to get a convincing victory with many goals. The goal-fest started early on the 10th minute of the match through midfielder Christian Noboa.

The player saw striker Enner Valencia running towards the open space on the left flank, he gave the West Ham United player a deep pass which left him alone in front of the goalkeeper. Enner scored the first goal with a well placed right foot shot to the far bottom corner. Ten minutes later, it was Jaime Ayovi who received an assist from Enner Valencia for Ecuador's second goal of the day. The players got a break, but the Ecuador players were out for blood.

Already on the second half, Ecuador was feeling more and more comfortable against Haiti, they created a combination where Jefferson Montero sent a cross to Noboa who killed the ball with his chest and struck it with a crossed shot on the 57th minute, it was the third goal of the night. With 12 minutes still to go, Antonio Valencia found a new chance to score another goal after Enner saw him wide open and assisted him to push the ball with an empty net. It was Ecuador's fourth goal today. Now they just have to wait for what Brazil and Peru do with their match which is about to start.
