Enzo Le Fée (24), who moved to Stade Rennais from his formative club FC Lorient only a year ago, may be moving again. Le Fée and AS Roma are purportedly in agreement on a five-year contract. Still, the Italian team thinks less of the midfield player than Rennes does. Rennes rejected the Giallorossi's initial offer of €18 million, and the Brittany club is now demanding at least €20 million—the amount they paid for the midfield player last summer. Despite a challenging first season with Les Rouges et Noirs, Rennes would not let Le Fée depart for less than what they paid for the player.
While the two teams work out a deal, Le Fée reportedly spoke with Frédéric Massara, the sporting director of Rennes, to formally announce his wish to quit the team, according to L'Équipe. It is also anticipated that he would communicate his preferences to head coach Julien Stéphan in the upcoming days.
