West Bromwich Albion tried its best to avoid relegation but they were unsuccessful as they missed several chances of making a goal against Newcastle United in the English Premier League and then ended in a draw with no goals for both the teams. After the match, New Castle was 4 points above the drop zone and stood at 16th position, while West Brom stayed in 18th position and 8 points from the safety area.
